Happy Friday!

I hope you are all having a wonderful start to fall. We are enjoying a bit of an Indian summer here in Vienna. Crisp mornings leading to warm afternoons make the perfect weather for fall explorations.

This weekend is the Wien Weinwandertag, one of my favorite weekends in Vienna and #11 on my Vienna Bucket List. I can’t wait to hike through the vineyards in this beautiful sunshine with good friends! And end at our favorite heuriger of course.

• For my fellow American Expats – this website walks you through how to vote from abroad…it is easier than you think!
• With my mind on the upcoming election, I’ve been reading about the former First Ladies in First Women: The Grace and Power of America’s Modern First Ladies & Upstairs at the White House: My Life with the First Ladies. I highly recommend both!
• And love these 5 designers sharing how they would decorate the White House for each candidate.
• I wish there was a map like this for Europe, so I could plan accordingly.
• I can’t believe we will be the last generation to remember life before the internet.
• 10 hobbies that will make you smarter.
• I finally read The Royal We. I have no idea what took me so long, it was such a fun read!
• In 5 more days I will be done with my first Whole30. Woohoo! More to come on this.
• Thinking of trying out these strategies to reduce daily stress.
• This Longreads excerpt captivated me, now this is the next book on my to-read list.
• I don’t know how anyone could even begin to think they don’t like Grüner Vetliner!
• This linen wash cloth looks like just thing to exfoliate all winter long.
• Yet another reason to travel with your kids.
• The 41 best superfoods. (I was surprised kale wasn’t at the top!)
• No one can have it all.
• 10 pieces of Austrian slang you’ll never learn in class.
• October 4th is Kanelbullensdag, Cinnamon Roll day, in Sweden. I might have to make these delicious looking Kardamummbular to celebrate!
